This client wanted to put their two separate businesses under one roof by going with one of the names of their business with some adjustments. With this reorganization, they needed a new logo and an entire new brand guide that also allowed room for expanding into other health industries. The first two are TRU Healthcare, their senior care home health company, and TRU Wellness Center, their mental health treatment center. For the logo design, I wanted to continue with the idea of fresh, a new start, and truth by using a sun as the icon and having it wrap around the swash of the T. The word “TRU” in the logo was created by combining the T from one font and the RU from another. I also extended the leg of the R so that it can have a similar flourish like the T and the U why also creating some dimension by have is overlap the separating line. Under the line is the type of center the company is. This would change per center type between these two as well additional colors provided for this pieces in case of expansions of the company.
After the logo was completed, I created a brand guideline for them. The guideline contained the fonts, colors, logo pieces, collateral examples, as well as do’s and don’s for logo and image usage. One this was done and approved, I continued with this branding by designing both websites which then went on to win a silver award for design in the General Websites: Healthcare Services category of the 19th Annual w3 Awards in 2024.
